Ventilated ceramic facade is a facade cladding with ceramic tiles mounted on an aluminium subconstruction, separated by 3-4 cm from the load-bearing wall or thermal insulation with a ventilated air gap. These facades usually consist of a layer of thermal insulation on the outer side of the load-bearing facade wall.
Ventilated ceramic facades are usually mounted with 4-8 mm wide open joints between the ceramic tiles.
