The owner and director of the company is Dr.Chem..Sci. Miljenko Urličić.
His final dissertation was in the field of silicate chemistry in 1962. on the University of Heidelberg.
After he was working for several years in “Jugokeramika” factory, he has been working in Swedish company CC HÖGANÄS BYGGKERAMIK AB for 25 years as a director of export for the east Europe, especially for acid resistant protection in chemical and food industry.
Company «KERATEK» was founded in 1991. originally as representative of companies CC HÖGANÄS, GAIL INAX i BWM facade systems , and in 1995 as an independent company for import, export, representing and engineering. In the year of 1997. in Sv. Križ Začretje “Ceramic center” with almost 2000 m2 of office, exhibition and closed warehouse space was built.
Today, the main area of activities are mounting of the ventilated ceramic facades, industrial ceramic floors, epoxy floors, mounting of pool ceramics as well as representing and selling material for the companies which it is representative of.
Today Keratek represents: BWM façade systems, CC HÖGANÄS, GAIL ARHITEKTUR KERAMIK, KLINGENBERG DEKORAMIK and HESSELBERG – epoxy floors.
