Tiles of a smaller format, from 115x115 mm up to 300 x 400 mm, can easily be laid in adhesive, on one condition: the overall surface of joints should exceed 7 % of the complete surface (for the water vapor pressure compensation!).

Nowadays, for smaller format and lower heights (up to 10 meters), very elastic adhesives are used, and there is enough positive experience with larger tile formats laid in adhesive as well. “Keratek” did several classical ceramic facades from which probably the most outstanding is the façade of children theatre “Trešnja” in Zagreb.
